Two cards to share....

Hi everyone,

At the beginning of the week I made two cards.

I decided to play around with my swallowtail butterfly stamp again.
I wanted a simple card.

The large print Designer Series Paper "Beyond the Garden" was the perfect match for my pink butterfly.
I used the ink "Raspberry Ripple" and the "Primrose Petal" cardstock.

The next card I made, used the stamp "Henry Says".
Card Stock: Whisper White, Midnight Muse
Ink: Midnight Muse, Basic Black
Designer Series Paper: Just Add Cake and Domestic Goddess

I hope you like my two simple cards.

Here's a new kit, Stampin' Up is offering.

A Mother's Day Card...

Hi everyone!

I had a request for a Mother's Day card.

I didn't have a stamp for this occasion, so I printed my sentiment on Very Vanilla card stock.
I just fooled around with different fonts online to get the look I wanted.
Then, I used my 2.5 inch circle punch to cut it out.
I cut out paper flowers using MFT flower die and my Sizzix Big Shot.
I used  Very Vanilla and  Pretty in Pink card stock,
and cut two coordinating butterfly's using a MFT die.
I added some vintage lace from my stash.
Dimensionals helped give the card some POP!!!
So, what do you think?

NOTE: Don't forget about the free shipping at Stamping Up! April 6-8th.

Thoughts of you!!

This evening I got inspired to make another card.
I used the dress form framelit from the Dress Up Framelits die set.

The Dress Up Framelits dies are one of my favorites.
I used a paper flower, so vintage buttons, and vintage lace to embellish it.
What do you think?

I hope you like it.

NOTE: Stampin' Up is having free shipping from Saturday, April 6th to Monday, April 8th.
So, go take a look at my shop to take advantage of this deal.

A dress up card

Hi everyone,

I've had the idea for this card for a few days now.
I finally decided to make it.
I used the Dress Up Framelits Dies to make it.
These are such cute dies.
I'm so glad I bought them.

I took apart one of the boxes from my Stampin' Up! order and peeled back the top layer of paper.
That gave me that vintage corrugated background that I wanted.
Then, I cut out the dress form out of Very Vanilla Card Stock.
The paper I used for the dress is Everyday Enchantment DSP that I got in the clearance rack.
I love this paper. I should have gotten more.
The lace ribbon is from my stash, as are the buttons.

I hope you like it.
I had a lot of fun making it.

Two swallowtail cards.....

I made two simple cards with my big Swallowtail stamp.
I really love this stamp.
It can be used for almost any occasion.
I would love to emboss this stamp.
But, I don't have the heat gun yet.
Hopefully I can get one soon.

I added a bit of color to my second card.
I was a bit worried about how it would turn out.
I traced the outline of some sections, and filled in others.
I'm happy with the outcome

I hope you like them.
