Moments in time......

Hi everyone,

I made two more scrapbook layouts.
This time I used old family photos.

Here they are:

These were fun to make.
The papers used were all from Stampin' Up!
The stamps, embellishments etc.....came from a variety of sources.

I hope you like them!

My Little girl....

Hi,

I made another mixed media scrapbook page.
This one I'm keeping.
This one was a bit more challenging.
I pushed myself to use much brighter colors then what I normally use.
I really like the way it turned out though.
I'm new at this, so.....go easy on me.
lol

Here it is.
The picture of my daughter was taken in May 2013.

I hope you like it.

Two Mixed Media Scrapbook pages...

Hi everyone,

I hope you are doing well.

I've been so inspired by the mixed media scrapbook artists out there.
One of my best friends recently had a baby and she sent me all these pictures.
I thought that I would get her baby scrapbook started for her.
You know how busy Mom's with newborns are.

I thought she would like these.
So here they are.

Here is the second layout using a divided page protector.

Paper: "Etcetera" and "This and That" Designer Series Paper(SU)
Embellisments: metal embelishments, pearl and rhinestone accents (Recollections)
Paint: liquitex gesso, americana whispering turquoise, golden light molding paste
Dies: Sissix flourish, Tim Holtz tattered flowers, Chevron die from SU circle thinlit set

I hope you like my layouts.
They were a lot of fun to make.
By the way, this was my first mixed media scrapbook page.
It was so much fun....there will be many more in my future.

Altered Art Journal

Hi everyone,

I decided to try my hand at a little bit of mixed media art journaling.
I bought an old book from a thrift store.
Tonight I work at the front cover.

Here is the original.

This is how I changed it.

Products Used
paper: Etcetera DSP (SU)
ink: Calypso Coral, Pool Party, Night of Navy (SU)
stamp: Beautifully Baroque (SU)
Liquitex Gesso
ribbons from my stash
Metal Embellishments: recollection
Die: Tim Holtz Tattered Flowers die

I'm going to use this art journal to play.
I want to make something for myself.
I just want to be creative, with no rules, time lines.
Just fun.....

I hope you like it!!
